The bathroom was horrendous the shower didn't work properly to the point it was almost impossible to have a wash as it drenched teh whole of the minute shower room. The tv didnt work and staff kept hassling us as to whether we had paid for our stay which we did on arrival. Overall condition of premises very poor.
For a city trip it was Excellent value for the money
Stayed new years eve, so only used it as a place to sleep. Good if your just needing somewhere to stay.Great location to walk into central London being on the end of regent street.
More of a hostal, just somwhere to sleep
The location were really great, really close to Oxford Street, Regent Street and Leicester Square.
Our room was not good. The shower was unusable, it was dirty. It seems like the walls had not be cleaned for a long time. The hairdryer didn't work.
The closeness to Ronnie scotts club and the fact we could walk, the hotel was quiet but lacked a lot in manners and the breakfast was very poor as was the decor and the comfort of this hotel, it is not a 3 star venue more like Poor star
Decor, dirty shower curtain, sticky floor, breakfast service cleanliness and over priced
The bacon at breakfast was good.
The room was tiny, the bed uncomfortable and the bathroom unpleasant. The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. Lift does not go to every floor. Ok if you are able bodied and capable of moving your suitcase up narrow stairs.
Lots - Sheets covered in cigarette burns, shower either freezing or boiling, used soap & packet of shower gel - still in the shower when I arrived. Noisy location next to building work (I know central London) & someone smoking in their room in the morning - you could smell this strongly in my room.
Good thing about the hotel was the location for where I needed to go that weekend
Manor of the person who checked us in was not polite, didn't think the rooms were particularly clean and I have stayed in alot nicer hotels for what the cost of this one
The location was quite good near to oxford street for shopping and restaurants.
Room was very small and basic have stayed in much better hotels in london for the same amount of money. Had breakfast one day did not bother for the other 3 days.
It is only the location that is all but to be fair, my room was clean.
The hotel was convenient for me duo to the location.
Reception staff were were quite unfriendly & not at all helpfull. Funny smell in bathrooms. Breakfast, limited choice but ok. Price good for good location in central London.
Room, bed , shower and toilet all clean Good location Relatively quite, little traffic noise
Excellent location in a quiet street close to Oxford Street and many other interesting places.
The room was quite small and worn out. When I tried to open the door for the second time the door lock totally broke up. Therefore, I had to change the room. I was given a room that was even much smaller (the single bed just fit in) and more worn out than the initial one and smelled really bad. I was not given any discount.
Bed linen not clean, had been used as a lot of hair in the bed! Bathroom not clean, remnents of shaving foam with whiskers on the tiled wall below the mirror. Carpets need a good clean on stairs and landings. Remote control did not work, electric kettle switch broken. Staff sullen and officious. Would not go back there
friendly, helpful staff, comfortable rooms, liked that they were en-suite rooms.
breakfast bit lacking - would have liked some fruit and yogurt, also ground or filter coffee (not instant coffee) would have been appreciated.
